Crime Stats: School Assault, Burglary, Pot Possession

Police calls decreased week to week.

Lower Merion police responded to 183 calls the week ending Dec. 2 throughout Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne, down from 201 calls the previous week, department records show.

  • 14 animal incidents
  • 1 burglary, Dec. 2 on the 1400 block of West Montgomery Avenue in Rosemont
  • 2 disorderly conduct citations
  • 1 case of marijuana possession
  • 1 fire, Nov. 28 on the 1000 block of Rock Creek Road in Gladwyne
  • 2 car accidents with injuries
  • 4 car accidents with property damage
  • 1 simple assault, Nov. 27 at Harriton High School
  • 2 thefts
