Police also made a DUI arrest Oct. 9 in Bryn Mawr.

Lower Merion police responded to 198 calls the week of Oct. 8-14 throughout Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne, up from 193 calls the previous week, department records show.

  • 3 animal incidents
  • 4 burglaries: three in Villanova Oct. 10, 11 and 13, and one in Rosemont Oct. 8
  • 1 DUI, Oct. 9 on the 700 block of West Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr
  • 3 fires: Oct. 9 on Victor Lane in Bryn Mawr, and Oct. 12 on both Monk Road and Stony Lane in Gladwyne
  • 1 fraud case, Oct. 11 on Beech Road in Rosemont
  • 1 car crash with injury
  • 8 car crashes with injuries
  • 1 arrest for public drunkenness
  • 1 robbery, of the Bryn Mawr Wells Fargo Oct. 12
  • 4 thefts
