Crime Stats: Crashes, Thefts, Fires

Police calls decreased from week to week.

Lower Merion police responded to 220 calls the week ending Nov. 11 throughout Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne, down from 385 calls the previous week, department records show.

  • 10 animal incidents
  • 1 disorderly conduct
  • 3 fires: one Nov. 5 on the 500 block of Scott Road in Gladwyne, one Nov. 5 on the 1200 block of Pinewood Road in Villanova and one Nov. 11 on the 800 block of West Montgomery Avenue in Bryn Mawr
  • 2 car crashes with injuries
  • 8 car crashes with property damage
  • 1 public-drunkenness citation
  • 3 thefts
