Update: Driver Injured in Gladwyne Library Accident

A stone retaining wall was also damaged.

A Tuesday afternoon accident at  left a woman injured and a retaining wall damaged, police said Wednesday.

"As a driver was exiting her vehicle the vehicle started to move, the car door struck the operator and she fell into the path of the vehicle and her leg was run over," according to Lower Merion police.

The car then hit the wall and another vehicle before coming to a stop, police said. The incident happened about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday.

The woman was transported to  with leg injuries, police said.
