EvoraPro is a dissolvable, mint-flavored probiotic tablet that contains three types of naturally occurring, live bacteria. It was developed by a company called Oragenics, a world leader in oral probiotics for humans (and pets!) as well as an innovator in new antibiotics to fight infectious disease. Probiotics, in general, work by replacing disease-causing bacteria with beneficial bacteria. For example, yogurt contains digestive probiotics that encourage the growth of bacteria that are beneficial to one’s intestinal tract. Oral probiotics, however, encourage the growth of bacteria that are beneficial to one’s mouth, teeth, and gums.
When the EvoraPro tablet dissolves, the beneficial bacteria it contains bind to the teeth above and below the gumline. Crowding out all the undesirable bacteria and helping maintain a natural, healthy balance of beneficial oral bacteria. Eliminating the harmful bacteria, you are going to reduce cavities, gum disease, and bad breath.
