Post Your Fourth of July Photos on Patch

It takes only a minute to share something with your fellow Patch users.

Chances are, Patch users will take plenty of photos during their Fourth of July celebrations.

If you snap one you think your neighbors will find particularly impressive or interesting, take a minute to post it to the Boards. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your Patch account, if you're not already signed in. If you don't have an account yet, click "Join" at the top right of any page.
  2. Below the banner photo on the homepage are two columns: a wide "News & Blogs" column and a narrower "Boards" column. Click inside the text box that reads "Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something".
  3. Click the "Add photos/videos" button to upload one from your computer.
  4. Type in the Title, body text and "Write a caption" boxes to describe the photo and add context, if you want.
  5. In the "Pick a Board" drop-down menu, choose "Announcements".
  6. Click "Post Now". You're done!
Photo posts are welcome anytime in the Boards. Patch users are also always welcome to post photos in our blog section; scroll past the top news stories on the homepage and click the green "+ Start blogging" button.
