Bryn Mawr Hospital Babies Get Books, Hats for Dr. Seuss' Birthday

The tradition started several years ago.

Babies born March 2 at are getting "The Cat in the Hat" books and hand-knitted red-and-white striped hats from the Radnor Township Association through the "Read Across America" campaign.

The gifts are to celebrate Dr. Seuss' March 2 birthday. The tradition started several years ago, said Main Line Health communications director Bridget Therriault.

Among the babies was Harrison Bohrer (pictured), born to parents Kimberly and Scott Bohrer, according to Bryn Mawr Hospital's Facebook page.
