In honor of our 40th Anniversary, Riverbend is proud to announce our first ever Nature Essay Contest and Nature Art Contest!
The Nature Essay and Art Contests, sponsored by local pizzeria Tony & Joe's, are designed to inspire children to express themselves creatively through art or writing. Kids simply answer the question designed for the contest and only SEVEN winners are chosen out of all the of essay and art submissions. For more details on the contests and the entry form, visit:

How to Enter the ESSAY Contest:
1. Write a story in 500 words or less. Answer the question, "Why is Nature important to you?"

How to Enter the ART Contest:
1. Create a piece of art answering "What is your favorite part of nature? Go outside, explore and be inspired!"
2. Art must no bigger than 8.5" X 11" and in full color
3. Fill out a Contest Entry Form
4. Mail OR email your Contest Entry Form to lmatthews@riverbendeec.org
5. Mail your artwork to: Riverbend Art Contest * 1950 Spring Mill Road * Gladwyne, PA 19035
6. If you prefer, you may drop off your submission. Email lmatthews@riverbendeec.org to schedule drop off.
Prizes:
One winner from each category will receive the following prizes.
