Rosemont College is proud to welcome its class of 2016 to campus on Friday, August 24. Move-in and registration for first-year and transfer students took place in the morning, followed by an Orientation Kick-Off and lunch for students and families.
Orientation activities will continue throughout the weekend, culminating with the Convocation Ceremony on Sunday, August 26 at 3:00 p.m. in McShain Performing Arts Center. Convocation celebrates the start of the academic year and formally welcomes new students to the Rosemont community with the Cap and Gown exercises. Christopher Harding, adjunct professor of business, will deliver the faculty address and introduce this year’s mission theme: “Rosemont College is dedicated to excellence and joy in the pursuit of knowledge.”
