Spring Comes Early to Main Line School Night

Tired of the winter and longing for spring? Main Line School Night offers exciting new classes for Spring 2013 beginning this month!

Freezing temperatures, endless sleet and snow, by the time February rolls around, if you are like me, you wonder if spring will ever arrive. At Main Line School Night, spring begins in February!  What better way to take a break from winter than by taking a class, learning a new skill and meeting new people along the way. With over 500 day, evening and weekend classes to choose from, including 140 new classes for Spring 2013, there is sure to be something to interest everyone.

Looking for a fun way to make your New Year’s resolution to trim a few inches a reality?

Dance to the Latin beat while strengthening important core muscles in Core Rhythm Fitness and Dance.  This combination of Latin and belly dancing moves is a fun way to burn calories, flatten your belly and tone arms and legs.

The 10 week class begins, Tuesday, February 19th from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm at Lower Merion High School.

Dreaming about visiting a foreign destination but can’t find the time to actually get away? You can take a mini “vacation”, no passport necessary, in Archaeological Journey Through the Near East.  Tatiana Young of Temple University will take you on a digital journey that includes a visit to Istanbul, a stop at Ephesus, and exploration of the Parthenon in Athens, all from the Creutzberg Center in Radnor. The 4 week class begins Wednesday, February 20th from 9:30 am to 11 am.

For 6 weeks, beginning on Wednesday, February 20th from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, Jennie Mison will be teaching Astrology at Harriton High School. Debunk myths and misconceptions about what astrology can and can’t tell you. Learn how to utilize astrology to enrich relationships, empower partnerships and see yourself in a fresh light of exciting possibilities.
