Calling All Adults and Kids Too!

Learners of all ages are invited to cook, dance and create at Main Line School Night!

Have you ever walked by a bakery window and wondered how the pastry chef turns flour, sugar, butter and cream into delightful and delicious works of art? Join John McKee, Executive Pastry Chef, for Pastries Like a Pro and learn how to make all sorts of French pastries including éclairs, cream puffs and napoleons as well as French-style macaroons, chocolates and confections. This 2 week class begins Tuesday, March 5th from 6:30 pm to 9 pm at Lower Merion High School.

Love watching Dancing with Stars and wish you could dance with such ease and confidence? Join Sandy Forman, dance instructor, for Latin Dancing for Social Occasions to learn the popular Latin Dances like cha-cha, salsa and some line dances so you can be ready for weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, and any dance party. This 8 week class begins Thursday, March 7th from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Conestoga High School.

This spring, spend a Saturday morning (or two) taking part in some fantastic kids activities as part of the Fab Fun for the Small Fry series. Kids 5 and older will rotate through a series of 4 mini classes and get to take home four completed projects and/or food creations. In the March 9th session kids will partake in Spring Cupcake Decorating, learn how to make and cook Dumplings, create crazy abstract works of art in Blown Ink Blast and make 3D notecards and nameplate s in 3D Paper Fun. The April 6th session features Spring Cookie Decorating, a make-your-own Pizza Party, a chance to create a stuffed animal in Making Friends from Felt and handmade one-of-a kind bracelets, rings and necklaces in Colorful Leather Accessories. Both sessions take place from 9:30 am to 12 pm at the Creutzburg Center. Adults, please note that your presence is required, but you are spectators only.
