Need Help With Your Thanksgiving?

We've got some suggestions for Bryn Mawr-Gladwyne Patch residents, and we want your suggestions, too.

If you're not into the notion of cooking an entire traditional Thanksgiving meal from scratch, consider these alternatives:

  • SuperFresh is offering fully cooked holiday dinners that serve six to eight people for $79.99. Customers can choose between the Premium Butterball Turkey Dinner, which includes a fully cooked succulent Butterball turkey (10 - 12 lb. average), garlic mashed potatoes (32 oz.), brussels sprouts with bacon (20 oz.), homestyle stuffing (two 18 oz.), cranberry relish (32 oz.), and all natural homestyle gravy (two 13 oz.) or the Premium Spiral Ham Dinner, which includes a fully cooked spiral ham (6 to 8 lb. average), garlic mashed potatoes (32 oz.), brussels sprouts with bacon (20 oz.), homestyle stuffing (two 18 oz.), and cranberry relish (32 oz.). To check availability, ask the deli manager. This week's circular ad recommends placing your order early.
  • If you're doing Thanksgiving on the go, you can stop at the Bryn Mawr to grab a Gobbler: turkey, gravy, cranberry sauce and stuffing on a roll.
  • If you've got all your ingredients taken care of but are looking for advice, you can call Butterball's Turkey Talk-Line (1-800-BUTTERBALL) for free expert tips (call weekdays between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.). You can also email them at talkline@butterball.com, and you can listen to TurkeyTalk podcasts.

We know there are other Thanksgiving options, and we want to hear them from you in the comments section. And whatever you do on Thursday, have fun and travel safe.
