1902 Photo Location, Revealed

The Lower Merion Historical Society's picture shows where one of Gladwyne's most famous residents was born.

On Sunday, we asked readers to identify the location of a 1902 photo taken in the Bryn Mawr-Gladwyne Patch area.

Today, the answer: It's the St. John Vianney Catholic Church rectory at Youngs Ford and Conshohocken State roads in Gladwyne.

According to the Lower Merion Historical Society, the building was the birthplace of Gen. Henry "Hap" Arnold, who graduated from Lower Merion High School in 1903, the year after the photo was taken.
