The week-long summer camp at the Nelly Berman School of Music offers an unusually high-quality, personalized program for up to 20 students, providing unparalleled one-on-one attention. The emphasis here is on quality of instruction, the results of which parents can hear for themselves at the concert on Friday for family and friends.

Students can elect to take two 30 minute lessons in any instrument, on top of the regular camp program.
Instruments offered: piano, violin, viola, cello, voice, trumpet, trombone, flute, clarinet.

Chamber music: Piano duets, trios and quartets grouped by experience.
Music Theory and Composition: Learn about composers as you create your own piece in the styles of Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Impressionistic and/or Modern periods.
Art: An art teacher will showcase great artists and their works. Students will create their own projects to investigate the techniques and aesthetics of the period.
International Film: Students will view and discuss film clips summarizing some of the aspects of the eras and musical styles students have learned.
Musical Theatre: Develop poise and confidence by learning and acting out songs from several Broadway shows with our engaging voice teacher.
Take a Rest: The Nelly Berman School provides recess and ice cream each day so campers have a chance to relax and interact with one another. Get active outside with capture the flag, and have great fun with your new friends!
