Michael Snyder, retired educator, author, and Civil War authority, will examine the military and political events of the summer of 1864: Grants efforts to destroy Lee; Sherman's maneuvers against the Army of Tennessee; the ups and downs in the Shenandoah Valley; and Lincoln's efforts to win his second term.
