FREE Performance of The Butterfly Project at Harcum College

The Butterfly Project, presented by the Wolf Performing Arts Center of Narberth, will be performed at the Kevin D. Marlo Little Theatre at 7 p.m. Based on the book I Never Saw Another Butterfly by Celeste Raspanti, the play tells the story of the children who passed through Terezin Concentration Camp during the Holocaust and honors their memory by bringing their poetry and artwork to life.

Audience members will have the opportunity to discuss the performance with the cast and to create one of the 15,000 hand-crafted butterflies to be collected throughout the duration of the project; each butterfly is meant to signify one child who passed through Terezin. Following the performance, there will be a discussion with a Holocaust survivor or a concentration camp liberator.
