48th Annual Holiday Boutique to Benefit The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)--Proceeds support patient care, research, and education through the Women’sCommittee grants--Philadelphia, PA— The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Women’s Committee will host its 48th annual Holiday Boutique to support patient care, research, and education at the Hospital. More than 800 people will attend the Boutique, which will include 25 vendors from around the country who will be selling their finest merchandise. Twenty- five percent of vendor sales and other event proceeds will support CHOP.The 2013 Holiday Boutique will be held on Friday, December 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, PA. Hosted by the Women’s Committee of CHOP and chaired by Katharine D. Joyce and Bethanie S. Simon, the Boutique wiil offer clothing and accessories, handmade jewelry, craftwork, vintage items, antiques, and more. Trion is the presenting sponsor of the Holiday Boutique.Since 1965, the Holiday Boutique has been a signature fundraising event for the Women’sCommittee of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, whose president is Mary Blair Denious.Each year, the Committee donates proceeds to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
