Riverbend Environmental Education Center in Gladywne is open year-round.

Bryn Mawr Patch stopped into the center on Thursday and took some photos. Soon enough the woods will be covered with leaves and crowded with children. But on Thursday, it was a quiet day.

Riverbend is picking up on a wave of parents' desire to foster and support the love of nature in young children. Starting in the fall the center will be offering a morning and afternoon kindergarten program at their 30-acre property.
