NWS Issues Wind Advisory for Region

Strong winds are expected until 6 p.m. Friday

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a wind advisory for Friday morning until 6 p.m. Friday for Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, Bucks and the surrounding counties.

Winds are expected to be between 20 and 25 mph per hour, with gusts of up to around 45 mph, warns the NWS.

The NWS warns that the strong winds can possibly bring down tree limbs, as well as trees themselves, and power may go out.
