Enter Gladwyne Library's Arts and Crafts Show

Do you have a piece of original art to display?

The Gladwyne Library League will hold its annual Arts & Crafts Show from March 4 to 9 in the Community Room at the Gladwyne Library.

The show is a long-standing community favorite event which features Lower Merion professional and non-professional artists and crafters.  Children of all ages are encouraged to participate.

Selected local accomplished and professional artists jury the entries and award “Judges Choice” awards in each category. A portion of the proceeds from any sales will benefit programs at the Gladwyne Library.

Show categories include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and needlework.  In addition, there will be a large variety of crafts including jewelry, pottery, decoupage, woodworking, weaving, rugs, basketry, etc.

All paintings and photographs must be framed or mounted, wired and ready to be hung.  Entries in the painting and photography categories are limited to three items per artist.  The exhibitors must be Lower Merion residents or owners of a Lower Merion Library card.

Entries of works from community members will be accepted at the library on Thursday, Feb 28, 6-8 pm; Friday, March 1, 3-5 pm; and Saturday, March 2, 10am-noon.

The Opening Night Preview Party will be held on March 4 from 7 to 9 pm.
