Bryn Mawr's 'Cutest Couple': Together Through Diner Shifts, Wildwood Days

You can vote until 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, for Laurie and Jason Bull to win Patch's region-wide 'Cutest Couple' contest—and more than $500 in prizes.

Laurie and Jason Bull of Bryn Mawr prevailed in the weekend-long voting for Cutest Couple in Bryn Mawr-Gladwyne Patch.

Now, they're competing with 13 other Philadelphia-area couples hoping to be voted the area's Cutest Couple, a distinction that comes with more than $500 in prizes from local businesses.

Patch contacted the Bulls to see if they'd share a bit of background to their relationship. Here's what Laurie told us:

Jason and I met 10 years ago while both working as servers at Ruby's Diner. Jason couldn't resist the red and white striped dress, while I couldn't resist the black bow tie and sailor's hat.

I believe he asked me out about five times before I actually said yes. And I only said yes because I wanted him to stop asking ... little did I know I'd later marry him.

Fast-forward 6 1/2 years to April 2009. Jason popped the question in front of the Ferris Wheel in Wildwood (our favorite place on the entire planet ... we even had a Wildwood-themed wedding, complete with boardwalk games and a fudge stand).

We've now been married for 3 1/2 years and although we haven't been married for very long, we have shared so much of our lives together. I believe the biggest testament to our relationship is how much we've grown over the last 10 years. The people that met 10 years ago and the people who said "I do" 3 1/2 years ago are not completely the same person. Our testament is in the ability to mold, and grow, and change together through all of our different stages of life.

And to add to our cuteness, I stand at a wonderful 4'10" while Jason is a whole foot taller than me! It definitely makes us an adorable couple.
