Bryn Mawr Financial Advisors Make Top Advisor Ranking

Barron's has ranked America's best financial advisors.

 

The financial magazine Barron's has ranked what it believes to be the country's top financial advisors. Two advisors in the Bryn Mawr office of Morgan Stanley have made the list in Pennsylvania.

The ranking factors include assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice and philanthropic work, according to the magazine.

Advisor John Gallagher is ranked 23 out of 40 in Pennsylvania this year. His customers include high networth individuals ($1 to $10 million) and individuals with assets of up to $1 million. His total assets managed is $615 million with a "typical account" of $1 million and "typical" client net worth of $5 million, according to the magazine.

Advisor David Wilson is ranked 31 out of 40 in the state this year. His customers include institutions, "ultra high networth individuals" ($10 million and higher), high networth individuals and individuals with assets of up to $1 million. His total assets managed is $815 million with a "typical account" of $3.1 million and "typical" client net worth of $5 million, according to the magazine.
