Gladwyne Montessori Welcomes New Director of Admissions; Bonnie McKeever

GLADWYNE (July 23, 2013)—Gladwyne Montessori announced Bonnie McKeever as its new Director of Admissions today. McKeever is a lifelong educator who brings to the position a unique understanding of Main Line independent school admissions, as well as a familiarity with Montessori education.

 

“Giving new families a glimpse of Gladwyne Montessori as they search for the best school for their child is a tremendously important job, and we could not be more pleased that Bonnie McKeever will be filling it,” said Abbie Miller, Gladwyne Montessori Head of School. “Bonnie has a proven track record of educational leadership, best practices, and innovative strategies at very fine schools, and she brings a wealth of experience to the Gladwyne Montessori team.”

Previously McKeever served as Director of Elementary at Kingsley Montessori School, a toddler–6th grade private school in downtown Boston serving 250 students from diverse international backgrounds. Locally she has also served as Director of Lower School Admissions at the Agnes Irwin School, as well as Assistant Head of School & Curriculum Coordinator at Meadowbrook School outside Philadelphia.

“Over the past several months Robyn Stearne has transitioned into her new role as Program Director at Gladwyne Montessori, while maintaining her current role as Parent Liaison,” noted Miller. “Bonnie rounds out a talented administrative team, and I hope each of you will take a minute to say hello and welcome her to our community.”
