Prom Flowers: What's This Year's Trend?

It's prom season and girls are busily getting dresses while boys are busily ordering flowers. So, what's this year's prom flower trend? According to floral designer Angela Ewing, of Trillium in Gladwyne, it depends every year but she believes this year's color theme may be green.

Ewing said the floral shop is prepping to make sure they have enough ribbon colors and tulle to go along with this year's color theme. However, every year black and white always seem to be the most popular prom dress colors.

And whether it's a wristlet or hand-tie bouquet, Ewing said it's always half and half. Half of the girls are wearing wristlets while the other half are carrying bouquets and it all depends on the school, added Ewing.
