Pedestrian Bridge Goes Up at Bryn Mawr Hospital

The bridge was installed Saturday morning.

A pedestrian bridge went up between  and the  over Old Lancaster Avenue on Saturday morning.

The pedestrian sky bridge weighs 55,000 pounds and is 104 feet across, according to a press release from construction manager IMC Construction.

Physician groups of the physician-owned building are hoping to move into the $32 million, 141,000-square-foot Medical Arts Pavilion in the fall. Tenants will include Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association, Orthopaedic Specialists, ENT and Allergy Specialists, Main Line Fertility, the Rothman Institute and Bryn Mawr Hospital.
