Ardmore Music Hall Books 'The Hooters' for Opening Weekend

The 23 East Lancaster Avenue concert hall opens next month.

The Ardmore Music Hall has lined up quite an opening weekend.

On September 20, the 23 East Lancaster Avenue venue, formerly Brownie's 23 East, will kick off its new life with a performance from The Billy Price Band and The Holmes Brothers, then follow that up with The Hooters the next evening.

The Billy Price Band, fronted by blues revivalist Billy Price, played multiple shows at 23 East in the '80s and '90s, while The Holmes Brothers have been playing their unique blend of blues, gospel, soul, country, and rock in the Philadelphia region for the last 30 years.
