$800,000 Morris Avenue Project Continues

The project is on track to be completed mid- to late September.

 began replacing 5,106 feet of water main along Morris Avenue and is on track to complete work in September.

The $800,000 project involves the replacement of an 8-inch cast iron-and-cement main with with an 8-inch ductile main.

One section between Harriton and Lafayette roads needs to be completed soon so PennDOT can pave, Aqua spokeswoman Donna Alston wrote in an email. A specific date for the paving is not known, but Aqua is on track to finish that portion of the project, Alston added.

Aqua is still installing pipe between Harriton and Old Gulph roads, according to Alston. All work is expected to be complete by mid- to late September.
