Reports: Sequel Coming for Bryn Mawr Native's 'Texas Chainsaw 3D'
Carl Mazzocone is the producer of the horror film.
Deadline reports the recently debuted horror film Texas Chainsaw 3D, produced by Bryn Mawr native Carl Mazzocone, will have a sequel filmed later this year.
Texas Chainsaw was the country's top-grossing film over the weekend, with a haul of $21.7 million, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.
Critics have been less enthusiastic than audiences. RottenTomatoes.com estimates 20 percent of critics submitted positive reviews, compared to 56 percent of viewers who liked the film.
