Brown’s fan-funded second album, “Almost There,” was released Oct. 1. She will be performing at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut St., Philadelphia.

“Almost There” was recorded in Nashville “in seven days, pretty much 100% live,” Brown said. “The was a conscious decision, because my last album was not that way. I wanted a more live sound. ... I think there’s more energy to that.”

Brown will be performing Sunday with her husband, songwriter Scot Sax. Sax won a Grammy for his work on the Faith Hill and Tim McGraw song “Like We Never Loved at All.” Learn more about Brown at www.suziebrownsongs.com. For tickets to her show, visit www.worldcafelive.com
