Gladwyne Library League to Host Annual Arts and Crafts Show

The annual art show runs from March 5 to March 10.

The Gladwyne Library League is preparing for its annual Arts and Crafts show in early March.

Exhibitors must be Lower Merion residents or Lower Merion library card holders, according to a flyer announcing the event. Those interested should bring their entries to the between 5 and 8 p.m. Thursday, March 1; 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, March 2; or 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 3.

Brochures and entry forms are available at the library's front desk, according to the flyer.

The show features both professional and non-professional crafters (children are also encouraged to enter), and show categories include:

  • Painting
  • Drawing
  • Sculpture
  • Photography
  • Needlework

All pictures must be framed or mounted, wired and ready to hang.

"Local accomplished artists and professionals award 'Judges Choice' ribbons in all categories," the flyer states.

Other crafts at the show will include jewelry, pottery, decoupage, woodworking, weaving, rugs and basketry.

at the Gladwyne Library from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 5. The public is invited to attend. The show will continue thorugh March 10 during normal library hours.
