This Lower Merion Historical Society event is co-sponsored by the Lower Merion Conservancy This event presents the documentary “The Revolutionary River” about the history of the Schuylkill River, followed by discussions of current open space plants along its banks. Introduced by Kurt Zwikl, Executive Director of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area, the film will be followed by updates on the Manayunk Bridge and other initiatives of the Schuylkill Project by Kay Sykora, as well as information about the Lower Merion side from Jerry Francis and Lori Salganicoff. Proceeds to Benefit the Cynwyd Station Revitalization and the Schuylkill River Greenway Association.
