In the film that propelled her to stardom, a young Elizabeth Taylor plays an English schoolgirl who is determined to win England’s most prestigious racing event with a rambunctious horse she won at a town lottery. She enlists the help of Mi Taylor (Mickey Rooney), a former jockey, to help train her new horse as she chases her unlikely dream.
