The exhibition and sale will open with a preview reception with the artists on Friday, January 27, 2012, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Academy Mansion. Tickets are required for this event.

The show traditionally features a variety of mediums including paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolor, pastels, glasswork, stoneware, woodwork, mixed media and forged iron sculptures.

From an early age, Genevieve Snyder felt compelled to paint and draw the world around her. She holds degrees in Fine Arts and Communications and continues to explore her craft through various classes and workshops at local art centers. She is a member of the Chester County Art Association, the Goggleworks, and the Portrait Society of America.
Genevieve's murals and portraits have been exhibited nationally for public and private individuals. Her award-winning oils have been on display at many juried art exhibits and local galleries. In addition, Genevieve's work has been used for poster art (Dressage at Devon) and cover art (Brandywine Polo Magazine). Her latest work can be viewed online at www.genevievefineart.com.
