Rainy Day in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania

The NWS has issued a flash flood warning through 3:45 p.m.

With the rain falling in buckets in Southeastern PA, the National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning through 3:45 p.m. for Chester and Montgomery counties.

The agency is forecasting the rain will fall through 10 p.m., with possible showers after that. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible, according to the NWS, which can result in ponding on roads.

The NWS is encouraging those in affected areas to seek higher ground, those who live near streams and creeks to take appropriate precautions, and everyone else to avoid flooded areas, whether on foot or in cars.

Stay safe, and stay dry.
