Lane Closures Scheduled for Pavement Patching

The operation is dependent on the weather.

The following was provided to Patch by PennDOT:

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) on Friday announced that lane restrictions are scheduled on Saturday (May 3) from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on northbound Interstate 476 between the U.S. Route 30 and I-76 exits in Lower Merion Township, and the U.S. Route 422 East/U.S. Route 202 North on-ramp to Interstate 76 East in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, for pavement patching operations.

Crews will restrict travel to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.

The operation is dependent on the weather.

Motorists can check conditions on I-476, I-76 and other major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 680 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available by calling 5-1-1, and regional Twitter alerts are available on the 511PA website.
