Winter Trek 2: Henry Gardens and Wilderness

  • When: Saturday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m.
  • Where: Henry Foundation, 801 Stony Lane, Gladwyne
  • Why Go:  Discover the sights and sounds of winter in a place created by the Henry family, friends and plant explorers. Wear appropriate hiking gear for rough, hilly and sometimes slippery terrain. Walking sticks are recommended. Parking is limited. Meet at the main Henry House.  No dogs.  Ages 8 & up
  • Cost: Free

40th Annual Art Show

  • When: Daily through February 2, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Free and open to the community, this show traditionally features a variety of mediums including paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolor, pastels, glasswork, stoneware, woodwork, mixed media and forged iron sculptures.
  • Cost: Free

Harriton Boys Lacrosse Social and Fundraiser

  • When: Saturday, February 2 at 7 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Enjoy a night out and help Harriton Boys Lacrosse.  The proceeds will provide gap funding for the lacrosse program as well as ensure that all boys that are interested in playing high school lacrosse will get the opportunity to have safe, high quality equipment and instruction, regardless of financial resources. To see the extensive silent auction items, please visit their website.  Tickets include appetizers, dinner, desert, and your first adult beverage and all soft drinks.  Cash bar.

Kids Matinee: Bright Eyes

  • Why Go: Bring the kids out for a Saturday Kid Matinee at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute.  This week they will show Bright Eyes with Shirley Temple.  
  • Cost: $4 kids, $5 adults
