Annual Christmas Sale

  • When: Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 & 2 from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

  • Why Go: Gifts of all kinds for all ages, Christmas ornaments and decorations, linens, silver, toys, books, jewelry, many treasures and collectibles!
  • Cost: Free

Villanova Orchestra Christmas Concert

  • When: Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Enjoy many Christmas favorites played by our own Villanova orchestra! This event takes place in St. Mary’s Chapel at 3pm and is free and open to the public.
  • Cost: Free

The Willow's Mansion Holiday Gift and Craft Show Extravaganza

  • When: Friday, Nov. 16 - Sunday, Dec. 2 - Open every day from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.  (Dec. 2 closes 4 p.m.)  Closed Thanksgiving.
  • Where: The Willows Mansion
  • Why Go: This is the last weekend of the annual holiday gift and craft show at The Willows.  Holiday gifts, crafts, decor, jewelry, ladies boutique, scrumptious gourmet foods, furniture, home accessories, art gallery, ceramics, baby and children's apparel, cafe for light refreshments and much more.

The Wayne Hotel's Old Fashioned Christmas

  • When: Friday, Nov. 30 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Downtown Wayne
  • Why Go:  The Wayne Hotel's Old Fashioned Christmas will take place this weekend. The schedule, according to the event website, is: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. — Strolling Carolers on North Wayne Avenue; 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. —Face Painting and Ornament Decorating at Radnor Fire House; 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. — Horse Drawn Carriage Rides on South Wayne and Runnymede avenues; 7:30 — Christmas Tree Lighting at Wayne Train Station.
  • Cost: Free

Old Fashioned Christmas Santa Parade

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 1 at 10 a.m.
  • Where: Along Lancaster Avenue & ending at the Wayne Hotel
  • Why Go: Saturday morning, Santa will ride down Lancaster Avenue on a firetruck before stopping to greet children and enjoy cookies and hot cocoa on the veranda at the Wayne Hotel.  The parade features Radnor High School Marching Band & Cheerleaders & Valley Forge Military Academy Field Music Group.

The Wayne Oratorio Society Messiah Concert

  • When:  Saturday, Dec. 1 and Sunday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Wayne Presbyterian Church 125 E Lancaster Ave, Wayne 
  • Why Go:  The Wayne Oratorio Society presents George Frideric Handel's "Messiah" - Saturday & Sunday, December 1 & 2, 2012. Melanie Sarakatsannis, Soprano; Kerry Ann Erickson Felps, Contralto; Brian Meneely, Tenor; Michael Krueger, Bass.
  • Cost: Free

2012 CHOP Holiday Boutique

  • When: Friday, Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: The 2012 Holiday Boutique will feature fashionable clothing, accessories, fine jewelry, exquisite home accessories, art and collectibles with 25% of sales donated to the CHOP through the Women's Committee of The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.  A preview party is open on Thursday, Nov. 29 for additional costs.  In addition, if you would like to enjoy lunch on Friday, the cost in advance is $30, $35 at the door.

Holiday Fine Craft Sale

  • When: Friday, Nov. 30 - Dec. 9
  • Where: Main Line Arts Center
  • Why Go: Shop from an amazing assortment of one-of-a-kind fine crafts including handmade jewelry, ceramics, glass, wood, fabric and more.  All handcrafted by professional artists from the region. Hours: Monday – Friday: 10 am - 8 pm; Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm; Sunday: 10 am - 4 pm
  • Cost: Free

Kid's Matinee - The Phantom Tollbooth

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 1, 11 a.m.
  • Where:Bryn Mawr Film Institute
  • Why Go: Bored young Milo shakes off the doldrums when a mysterious tollbooth appears in his bedroom, transporting him to an enchanting world of warring letters and numbers. Join Milo as he journeys to the magical Castle in the Air in this wild and wacky musical fantasy based on Norton Juster’s classic novel and co-directed by Looney Tunes alum Chuck Jones.
  • Cost: $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for kids.
