1. Monday is the Martin Luther King Day holiday. Find out what is open and closed in the area today.
2. The National Weather Service forecast includes a chance of very light snow Monday, as well as a chance of snow Thursday night and a chance of rain and snow Friday.
3. The Bryn Mawr Civic Association meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Bryn Mawr Community Center behind Ludington Library. Among the topics on the agenda is a development proposal for properties at Lancaster Avenue and South Roberts Road, across from Kelly's Pub.

4. Several lane closures are scheduled Tuesday through Thursday on the Schuylkill Expressway through Lower Merion as PennDOT conducts bridge inspections.

Though there is no normal Lower Merion Board of Commissioners meeting on Wednesday night, the commissioners will host the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners at 7 p.m. Wednesday for a public discussion of local matters.
