Harcum Men's Basketball team's 99-73 victory November 22 over Hagerstown Community College marks Harcum's and Coach Drew Kelly's 200th win since the team was formed in 2007.
The Bears had their first loss of the season, 90-83 at their next game on November 23 against the defending national championship team College of Central Florida in the Monroe Classic in New Rochelle, New York. Harcum trailed by 14 points at the half after CCF connected on a 40-foot bank shot at the buzzer of the half, then opened the lead up to 19 early in the 2nd frame. Harcum fought back, rallying to tie the score at 75 with just over 4 minutes remaining. But Harcum couldn't sustain the rally, and CCF held on for the win. Hakeem Rogers led the Bears with 18 points.
The Bears were back in action on Tuesday, December 3 when they hosted Delaware Tech at OMGC Gym in Bryn Mawr. The Bears won, 94-74, holding Delaware Tech without a point for the first 8 minutes and defeating Delaware Tech for the 14th consecutive time. The victory improves Harcum to 8-1 on the season.
Harcum will be back in action on Thursday, December 5 when they travel to Salem Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm.
