Harcum College Basketball Team Ranked in NJCAA Top 25 --Men’s Team is now 25th in the Nation --

Bryn Mawr, PA – January 29, 2014 – The Harcum College Men’s Basketball Team was named a Top 25 team in this week's NJCAA Division I men's basketball poll. The Bears have a 17-2 overall record on the season, topping formerly ranked Monroe College (82-71) on January 16.

"We have been playing consistent basketball all season, and it is nice to be recognized for that with a national ranking,” said Bears Head Coach Drew Kelly.  “We also need to stay focused on the next game and take things one day at time.  We have some challenging games coming up in February." 

 

It is the first time that Harcum College has been named to the NJCAA Top 25 since 2010. Harcum College is also the only Eastern team in the poll. (See the other nationally ranked teams.)

This year’s team returned four sophomore letter winners and had eleven new faces to the program.  The Harcum College men’s basketball program is coming off their eighth consecutive season with at least twenty wins.
