Gladwyne's Donna Powell to be honored by Tribute to Women and Industry

Gladwyne, PA resident  Donna Powell will be among 51 women to be honored at the 35th Annual Tribute to Women and Industry Awards Dinner, sponsored by YWCA Union County at the Bridgewater Marriott Hotel on May 8th.  She serves as Enterprise Assistant Controller at Public Service Enterprise Group in Newark.

Donna Powell is a finance executive and CPA with extensive utility experience and in depth knowledge in utility management gained over 30 years of progressive leadership in the industry.  Ms. Powell is the Controller for PSE&G, New Jersey's oldest and largest publicly owned utility serving over three-quarters of the state and one of the largest combined electric and gas utilities in the United States.  She is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s specialized regulatory accounting and reporting functions and provides direct testimony to regulators in support of all Company rate filings. In her role with PSE&G, Ms. Powell ensures the timely and effective implementation of financial processing and management reporting requirements from senior management, internal business units, external stakeholders and regulators.

YWCA Union County's Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN) Award is a nationally-recognized honor for women. Since creating the TWIN award 35 years ago, the YWCA has honored women in executive, managerial, and other professional roles who have made significant contributions in their fields.  This important award recognizes successful women executives for their outstanding achievements and honors those companies that have provided opportunities for women to achieve their potential.
