College Day on the Parkway

Campus Philly held their annual College Day on Saturday September 28, 2013.  The event was held right in front of the Art Museum steps in Philadelphia. They gave you the opportunity to view downtown Philadelphia, visit museums for no charge with a valid college ID, and see other culture attractions.

According to Campus Philly, they are a nonprofit organization that fuels economic growth by encouraging college students to study, explore, live, and work in the Greater Philadelphia Tri-State region.

College Day featured foose ball tournaments, dance competitions, Karate lessons, rock climbing, and raffles. They also provided food, music and even free giveaways. The companies that had table were IKEA, Xfinity, the U.S. Army, Cosmopolitan Magazine, and many more. There were a total of 70 different Colleges/Universities in attendance.

Danell Worrell is a freshman Business Administration major at Harcum College.
