CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE

The Coatesville Partnership Site recognizes the importance of quality family time and of children seeing their parents work toward a goal. On Friday, December 6, children of Harcum students and their friends gathered to prepare candy bundles to distribute the following day during the Coatesville Christmas Parade. The youngsters also made Christmas cards for a local Senior Center and Veterans Hospital. Portia Graham, Community Education Outreach Advocate, remarked, "These events mean so much to us, as adult students who work and go to school it is important to still find time for family and Harcum allows us to do that. The children share a sense of pride and community and most importantly spend time with their parents."
COATESVILLE CHRISTMAS PARADE

For the third year in a row, the Coatesville Partnership Site joined Hatcher to participate in the Coatesville Christmas Parade, held this year on Saturday, December 7. Thousands lined the main street of Coatesville to see over 100 different groups participate in the city’s annual Christmas celebration.
