Call for Respondents for Doctoral Dissertation (Penn Sociologist)

I am a doctoral student at the Department of Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania, currently working on my doctoral dissertation. I am seeking  respondents to participate in my interview-based study. I am seeking professionals married to/with a partner who also works, with children. If one of you is currently experiencing, or has recently experienced involuntary job loss for at least the past three months, I would be most interested in learning about your experiences. If you agree to participate, which I hope you will, please:

-       contact me by emailing me at: aliyarao@sas.upenn.edu,

-       or by calling/texting me at: 267 357 7792 to inform me of your willingness to participate.

-       We would then set up a mutually convenient time and place to meet and conduct the interview.

-       If you cannot meet in person, we can also do interviews over Skype.

All interviews will be confidential. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about my research or the interview (at the above details)

I hope you will see fit to tell me your own story, about your and your family’s experiences of job loss.

Best,
