This year they are thrilled to bring back pony rides and the popular Birds of Prey show. “We are excited to host this wonderful Halloween event for families” says Executive Director, Laurie Bachman. “Shiverfest is a great chance to spend time outdoors enjoying the bounty of the fall season with activities that delight and engage children while supporting our educational mission.”

Shiverfest is not only a great family event for the community to enjoy; it is also Riverbend’s largest fundraising event of the year. Businesses and families can support Riverbend by becoming Shiverfest sponsors at various levels. “We are grateful to our generous sponsors and community supporters for helping us connect kids to the outdoors, inspire their love of nature and nurture their curiosity about science,” said Bachman. This year, the Philadelphia Eagles, who have strong ties to environmental initiatives, are the presenting sponsors for the event.

Shiverfest tickets, while they last, are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Children 3 and under are free so mark your calendar for a night of fall fun!
