A Candlelight Service of Nine Lessons and Carols
The combined choirs (children, youth and adults 90 voices strong) of Church of the Redeemer, Bryn Mawr, will present a Service of Nine Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 16, at 7:00 pm. Based on the well-known annual service at King’s College Chapel in England, the service includes many beautiful and beloved carols and choral works for the season. Advent and Christmas scripture lessons will also be read. The congregation will be invited to join the choirs in the singing of Carols. Early seating is advised.
The choirs of Church of the Redeemer will be conducted by Michael Diorio, Organist and Director of Music, and accompanied by Michael Stairs, Organist Emeritus.
