The sanctuary is lit entirely by candlelight for the climax of the Carol and Candlelight Christmas Eve service. We lift our candles to light the darkness and find ourselves surprised by the light that even a candle can produce. We celebrate the birth of the Christ child as a moment and an ongoing event that changes all of our lives.

St. Luke United Methodist Church is led by the Reverend David Tatgenhorst. St. Luke United is involved in many mission and outreach programs working with the Interfaith Hospitality Network; the Mary Jane Enrichment Center and a homeless shelter, as well as assisting children thorugh Methodist Services for Children and Families. St. Luke also offers a variety of ways for personal spiritual growth through LIFE group, Children's Celebration, Bible Study and United Methodist Women.
