Woman Robbed at Glenbrook Ave. Station, Police Say

The victim's handbag was taken.

 

The Radnor Police Department is investigating a late reported strong-arm robbery that occurred in the Bryn Mawr section of Radnor Township.

On Friday, March 8 at about 7 p.m., a woman reported that she was robbed at the SEPTA High-Speed Line at the Glenbrook Avenue station in Bryn Mawr.

According to Radnor Police, the victim was walking toward the taxi stand on Glenbrook Avenue when a person approached her from behind and grabbed her handbag.

The person then fled the scene and was last seen running toward the intersection of Bryn Mawr Avenue and Haverford Road.  According to police, at the time of the report, the victim could not provide any further description as the robbery happened so quickly.
