Where to Vote in Lower Merion Township

We list polling places, candidates and voter registration statistics.

Residents of Lower Merion and Narberth will head to the polls from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday to vote for municipal representatives (Lower Merion's Board of Commissioners and Narberth's Borough Council) as well as for members of the Lower Merion Board of School Directors and for county and state government positions.

Below, find out where residents should vote (based on where they live) and for which elected positions they can vote, as well as how many people in each precinct, ward and municipality are registered with each of the major political parties, according to county records as of Oct. 22.

Lower Merion and Narberth

Residents throughout the township and borough can vote for the following positions:

  • School board: seven candidates for five seats. Five candidates are running under both the Democratic and Republican columns: incumbents Diane P. DiBonaventuro and Virginia O. Pollard and challengers Marissa Golden, Robin Vann Lynch and Subha C. Robinson. Two other incumbents, Susan J. Guthrie and Lisa Fair Pliskin, skipped the primary and are seeking re-election under the heading Education Without Politics.
  • County commissioner: four candidates for three seats. Republicans Jenny Brown and incumbent Bruce Castor face Democrats Leslie Richards and Josh Shapiro.
  • Court of Common Pleas judge: four candidates for two seats. Democrats Cheryl Austin and Richard Haaz face Republicans Dan Clifford and Maureen Coggins.
  • Commonwealth Court judge. Republican Anne Covey faces Democrat Kathryn Boockvar.
  • Superior Court judge. Democrat David N. Wecht faces Republican Vic Stabile.
  • County district attorney. Incumbent Republican Risa Vetri Ferman is unchallenged.
  • Sheriff. Incumbent Republican Eileen Whalon Behr faces Democrat William A. Holt Jr.
  • County clerk of courts. Democrat Ann Thornburg Weiss faces Republican Moon Ahn.
  • Controller. Republican Stewart Greenleaf Jr. faces Democrat Diane B. Morgan.
  • Coroner. Democrat Walter I. Hofman faces Republican Gordon S. Clement.
  • Prothonotary. Republican William E. Donnelly faces Democrat Mark Levy.
  • Recorder of Deeds. Democrat Linda M. Hee faces Republican Nancy J. Becker.
  • Register of Wills. Republican Patricia A. Mosesso faces Democrat D. Bruce Hanes.
  • Treasurer. Democrat Jason E. Salus faces Republican Chuck Wilson.
