Weekend Guide: Meet Pete Rose and Live Music

Charlie Hustle is coming to the area, and so are strawberry and arts festivals and flea markets.

 

Looking for something to do in the Greater Philadelphia area? Use this guide as a primer to the weekend of June 16.

Pete Rose Autograph Signing

Where: Granite Run Mall, Media
When: Saturday, June 16, 1 p.m to 2:30 p.m.

What: Pete Rose, a member of the 1980 World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies team and the MLB all time hits leader is coming to Media to sign autographs and meet fans. Atrz and Groove Festival

Where: 7100 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia
When: Saturday, June 17, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

What: The Artz and Groove festival is a Mt. Airy-based outdoor maket event that features over 15 local vendors, displays from local artists and live music from area acts and beyond. The event runs through Sunday and is free to attend. Learn more about it here.

Phoenixville Strawberry Festival and Flea Market

Where: 204 Church Street, Phoenixville
When: Saturday, June 16, 9 a.m.

What: The Phoenixville Historial Society is hosting its  annual Strawberry Festival and Flea Market on Saturday. The flea market will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the Strawberry Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 3 pm. Kids activities will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be lunch items, strawberries, ice cream and cake. Learn more about the event here.

Celebrate Father's Day by bringing your father to the Healthy Living Expo for Seniors at the Carousel House at Belmont & Parkside. Free admission. Free blood pressure and diabetes screenings. Free refreshments. Saturday, June 16th 12 to 4 pm. Hosted by the Philadelphia Senior Citizens Resource Center and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation.
